Gateway Pediatrics is focused on preventative medicine, providing appropriate anticipatory guidance to parents and families to raise healthy children. The joy of Pediatrics is in watching patients and families grow with us. We enjoy giving families the reassurance that we know your child(ren) by name and history when they walk into the office. The ideal Pediatrician is not merely a child’s physician, but one who evolves into the child’s mentor and advocate.

The vision of Gateway Pediatrics is providing the old fashioned one on one care for my patients . Every child and family has unique needs in terms of the physician’s time, medical approach and emotional responsiveness, not best served by a “cookie cutter” technique. Establishing Gateway Pediatrics has given us the flexibility to meet these distinctive needs while providing the best medical care.

At Gateway Pediatrics, we also understand that childhood illnesses are common and worrisome to parents. It is our goal to offer same day appointments for acutely ill children so they can be seen in a timely manner. Parents will always have the opportunity to speak to Dr. Sudha, Dr. Valenzuela or Neva Schwartz CPNP directly with their questions and concerns. After hours phone calls are also handled by Dr. Sudha, Dr. Valenzuela or Neva Schwartz CPNP in addition to Valley Pediatric Triage so that parents have the reassurance of talking to their own health care provider who is familiar with their child’s health history.
