Gateway Pediatrics P.L.L.C. is a community based Pediatric practice offering primary care for newborns, infants, children, adolescents and teenagers, ranging from birth to 18 years. Gateway Pediatrics provides comprehensive office based services for well child care, immunizations, behavior and developmental issues, and the treatment of routine childhood illnesses. Children with various special health care needs are welcomed at Gateway Pediatrics and Dr. Sudha sets aside long appointment slots when meeting with these children and families. We are proud to be a breastfeeding friendly practice with the services of an in house lactation consultant.

Dr Sudha and Dr. Valenzuela round on their newborns at Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. They also personally care for children from Gateway Pediatrics admitted to the in patient Pediatric unit at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. Critically ill children, those requiring the care of a Pediatric sub specialist, or surgical procedures are usually admitted to Cardon Children's Medical Center, Phoenix Children's Hospital or St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center.

Gateway Pediatrics partners with Desert Pediatric Hospitalists (DPH) to take care of their newborns at Cardon Children's Medical Center, Banner Baywood Medical Center or Banner Gateway Medical Center as well as inpatient admissions at Cardon Children's Medical Center.

Dr. Sudha, Dr. Valenzuela and Neva Schwartz (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) welcome parents to meet them and the office staff for a complimentary "Meet The Doctor" visit. It is a great way for you to get to know us and for your child to become comfortable with our office. It is also a nice way for expecting parents to meet their Pediatrician before the arrival of their newborn.
