Childhood illnesses are common and worrisome to parents. Every effort is made to provide same day appointments for sick visits, especially for young infants and children.

We always ask that you call us to schedule an appointment. This will help avoid an unnecessary wait if you walk in and are “worked into” the schedule.

Extra time is allotted for new patients and children with special health care needs.

The office has separate entrances leading into the waiting areas for well and sick children.

The office also has a seperate entrance for children with potentially contagious illnesses such as an undiagnosed rash. This entrance is often used to check in premature infants or children with lowered immunity, avoiding their exposure to the general waiting area(s). Please notify the front desk in advance if you need to have your child brought in through this entrance.
